Competition tickets

Competition Spectator Ticket refunds will not be accepted after 24 hours before the start of the event and competition.

The purchase of a Spectator Ticket allows entry to the competition or session on the day specified. Future Cheer's priority is with the spectator and will provide seating at each venue for spectators. Purchasing a Spectator Ticket allows entry to the event and is in no way a guarantee of a seat or that a group or team can all sit together. Spectator Ticket wristbands must be worn at all times on entering the event.

For any further questions please contact bonnie@futurecheer.net.

Competition entry fees

Individual payments are not accepted. One payment must be made for each program's competition entry. Competition entry fees will not be refunded after the on-time registration deadline for the competition has closed. Refunds prior to the on-time competition entry deadline will only be refunded to the program in the same manner that they were paid. No refunds will be issued to an individual.

Please note: If you have a registration on an event on the date of the on-time deadline — whether this is incomplete, pre-registered or submitted — all registration fees associated with this registration will still be due, regardless of whether you then go on to cancel the registration or withdraw some or all teams/participants from the event.

If you cancel or withdraw teams/participants after the on-time deadline and payment has already been made, you are not eligible for a refund or credit for this. To avoid these instances, make sure that your registration is accurate, or deleted if no longer attending, by the event on-time deadline.

The above does not include spectator tickets, as these will be refunded.

Coaches passes

Coaches passes will only be issued to coaches with valid coaching qualifications. Junior Coaches may not take athletes into warm-up unsupervised — there must be a fully qualified coach with them. The registration system will be locked down for adding coaches two weeks prior to each event. No alterations or additions to your coaches can be made to your registration after that date. Any coaches not added at this point in time may be asked to purchase a spectator ticket to gain entry to the event and will not be allowed into warm-up. We may on occasion issue a coach with a Temporary Coaches Pass. Coaches will only be issued with one temporary coaches pass per season.

Inclement weather policy

In the instance of inclement weather, Future Cheer will seek advice from agencies such as the Environment Agency, Local Authorities, Highways England, Traffic Scotland and Traffic Wales regarding safety and best practice. Future Cheer will always do our best to hold the event as planned. In the event that Future Cheer have to cancel an event due to inclement weather, registration fees and spectator tickets will be refunded or can be credited to a program's account and transferred to another event within the same season. If an event goes ahead but a program is unable to attend due to inclement weather, Future Cheer may transfer that program's registration to another event within the same season. Refunds will not be given if the event goes ahead as planned (this does not negate the spectator ticket refund policy above).

Photography policy at events

Future Cheer reserve the right to refuse anyone from taking photographs and videos at any events and competitions at any time, to protect the privacy of athletes, spectators, teams and programs, and to protect our own employed photographers.

Parents and teachers are welcome to film and photograph their own children and teams using phones and amateur camera equipment. Future Cheer prohibits the filming of teams that you are not affiliated with or those that you do not have express permission from in advance.

The use of flash photography during competition is prohibited as this can produce glare and be distracting for competitors. Flash photography is allowed outside the competition halls and during awards ceremonies at advised photo opportunities.

Use of professional telephoto/long-distance and wide aperture rated camera lenses is forbidden at Future Cheer events unless prior consent has been given. Forbidden professional lens equipment is defined as any lens with a fixed or zoom focal length over 105mm, any lens with an aperture rating of f/2.8 or wider, and all professional telephoto lenses regardless of aperture rating. If you wish to use professional equipment you must apply for a Photo Pass and provide a recent enhanced DBS check.
